ENGINEERING TRADES DISPUTE
CONFERENCE FAILS TO AGREE.
(Elec. Tel. Press Assj (R«utcrs Telegram.; (Received April 17. 1 p.m:) LONDON, April 16. An engineering crisis is threatened, the conference of engineering employers and trades unions on the national demand for £1 a week increase in, wages having failed to reach an agreement. The trade unions are now considering the question of authorising a strike ballot m the London districts.
