A fresh fall in the franc, despite an apparent improvement in the financial situation, is causing uneasiness. If is attributed to stiles of French francs abroad, especially in Belgium and Italy, for the maintenance of their own currencies, also in Holland, for unknown reasons. False reports with regard to a demonstration by civil servants in Paris, circulated in Central Europe, are also blamed.
