It-has been arranged thati the steamers Sophocles and Diogenes shall be' employed in the Sh aw, ! Say ill' arid Albion Co.'s New , Zealand service,; commencing early, in,the autumn. The; ships will be 'renamed Tamaroa .and Mataroa, and probalily will be eon-' verted into oil.burners. The Aberdeen Line does not propose to replace, them at present,.but will use two third-class ,p:iSHcviger ships in the Australian trade.
