MATAWHERO STOCK SALE. CATTLE SELL WELL. There was a good yarding of store sheiqi at Mnta.whero to-dav and a fair demand at prices which were about the same as last week. The sheep were in much hotter condition than t ! u majority of those qt hast week’s sale, and included several good lines. Thirteen head of fat cattle sold well, but there was less demand for the fat sheep, which were mostly light. Little demand existed for pigs. Fat Cattle: Good cows made from £5 fis to £5 Ids-; lighter sorts £1 Ids to £5 Fat Sheep: Good 2-tooth we.lhers made 20s 7d to 20s .1 Oct; lighter 2-tooth wethers IPs; lambs 14s 7d to 15s l()d; ewes Ids to 14s -Id. Pigs: Wefiners made ss; slips 5s to (Is (id; goqd stores ISs; lighter stores 10s to 14s. fid ; porkers 555. Store Sheep: Ewe lambs 12s; wether 'laihbs fis to 11s.
