Arrears to the extent of £2lB 10s in respect of an order foV the maintenance of his wife and children were alleged against William Edward Pinching, who had been arrested in Wellington, and who appeared, on remand, before Mr. E. .C. Levvey, S.M., at the Gisborne Magistrate’s Court this morning. Mr, J; Blair, for the informant, stated that"the defendant had arranged to make an imtnodinte payment of £4O, and under this Condition ho would agree to n further adjournment. / i After consultation between counsel it * was decided that the balance of the arrears should be suspended for • six , months, on condition that the current payments were made regularly.
