Sir, —*1 regret' that' time will not' permit- me to'deal' more .fully with your loader'of the I3th iiisl., under the head* irig of “Business Under Compulsion.” It is not very’ dear who or which’ 1 party you are putting, on trial, whether the Hon. J. G. Coates, Mr. Grounds,.or the farmers of New Zealand, who were instrumental in putting them in tiie responsible positions .they occupy'to-day. I venture to think, you' can trust the producers to know, what to do where their interests are involved, and to continue loyal to their vote, already so unmistakably recorded 'in favour of control in the marketing of our produceIn conclusion I respectfully refer your readers to an article in the same issue ,of your- paperj page eight, “Organised 'Marketing,’’ also how "Canadian' Farmers Protect Themselves,” which ap» pears in your> jssturof even date.—l ami ■etc., , OBSERVER.
