Edwards (Opotiki) beat Pile (Opotiki); Pitcher (Gisborne) beat Cooke (Opotiki); Maloolinn' (Opotiki) and J. Ediwnrds (Opotiki) a draw. Lightweights: •Jlawlhorn© (Matata) beat Buckingham (Gisborne); Guild ry (Opotiki) beat Fitzmnuricc (Gisborne); Robertson (Gisborne) beat Barnes (Matata.).
Middleweight. : Wright (Gisborne) beat R. Parkinson (Matata). Featherweight (star bout, six rounds): Franklin (Gisborne) drew with O’Sullivan (Auckland);
The referees were Messrs Bavdwell (Gisborne) andi Oarynthcrs (Opotiki).
