GUN POINTED.
DISPUTE BETWEEN FISHERMEN. MAN FINED £5. . (Eer Press Association.) ' THAMES, this day. A dispute between fishermen came to a head in the Court, yesterday, when Joseph Senior was charged with pointing a gun at two other fishermen, McKinnon and Rolton. The incident occurred on a stretch cf the Waihon river known as Duck Creek;, which is a flounder fishing place. There was apparently bad blood- between the parties, Senior alleging that McKinnon's boat came too glose. to allow him to fish properly. Witnesses’ versions differed considerably, but Senior was convicted and fined £5 and costs.
