ABOUT MUSSOLINI’S EARLIER - WORK. SOCIALISTIC IDEAS CAUSE. EXPULSION. (Renter’s Telegram.) (Received April 16, 1 p.m.) LONDON, April 15. An examination of old- railway paybooks at Lugano, in Switzerland, reveals that Signor Mussolini worked as a mason during tlie construction of the line in 1907, receiving 2s 6d- daily. Tlie records show lie was a diligent, steady worker until his Socialisitc views s necessitated his expulsion from Switzerland.
