ALMOST FULL SHIP.
AORANGI’S RECORD PASSENGER LIST. (Special to the Herald ) AUCKLAND, this day. A record number of passengers was on board the R.M.M.S. Aorangi when she sailed from Auckland for Vancouver. The total was 800, of whom 403 joined' at Auckland, and the remainder at Sydney. The,vessel has accommodation for otfitfr 350 passengers, so was not unduly crowded. - / • A large number of friends of departing. passengers were on tho wharf for a ioiig .time before the Aorangi sailed. The “waterside workers held their monthly stop work meeting ity the morning and consequently cargo operations on. the vessel did not commence until 10 o'clock. She was scheduled to sail at 3 .pirn/, but bwjng to the delay in tho Morning, did not cast off from ttie whan until after four o’clock. v
