A verdict of accidental. drowning was returned in connection with the double fatality at Pntiki on Thursday, whereby two 'girls, Elizabeth Mac Lean and Cicely Leigh, lost- their lives. The Coroner referred to the heroism displayad by Cicely Leigh, and said she was a bravo little soul who gave her life in the endeavor to save her friend. The Coroner also praised the action of two women who could not swim, hut joined hands and walked in up to their necks lo endeavor to affect a rescue, lie recommended that the facts bo placed before the Royal Humana Society.
