Although the Australian WoolgroWors' Convention, which was to have been held in Melbourne- to consider Sir .John Higgins' proposal for the- formation of a Government-controlled wool association, had to lie abandoned owing to the opposition of the majority of the pastoral associations, il is quite clctir that the matter is not yet dead. Before long Sir John' Higgins will visit London where, if is understood, lie will seek financial support for his system of wool control and stabilisation.
