WILFUL DISOBEDIENCE.
(Per Press Association.) GREY MOUTH, this day. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning, A. Robinson. M. Davies, and H. J. Roberts, firemen on the Waipori. were Convicted of wilful disobedience to the lawful command of the commander in refusing to gel, up steam to take the vessel to sen. , The refusal was based on the ground that there were no trimmers on board, and the voyage to Sydney was therefore too arduous. Mr Mcldrum. S.M., said the nffn knew the position when signing on the articles. As they had persisted in refusal lie imposed a, month’s imprisonment on each.
