At cricket, Hampshire in their first innings made; 139 (Macaulay four for aO, Kilner four for 63), and in the second 153 (Brown 51, Macaulay six for 13). Yorkshire rrtade 408 (Rhodes 91, Macauley 63, Allan 95, not out). Yorkshire won by an innings and 116 runs. Cambridge University in their first innings made 471 for eight wickets and declared (Dawson 63, Lowe 83, Duleepsingli 130, East-haven 62. not out). In the sti;oiu( innings they,made 184 for four wickets, and declared (Dawson 83). Somerset in their first innings made 203 (Johnston 70. not, out) ..Meyer tone live wickets for 61. In their second innings Somerset made 306 (Maeßryan 129, Hunt 51). Cambridge won by 112 runs. For Surrey against Warwick, Hobbs made 215, Sandham 102. Fender took seven wickets for 78. For Warwick, Parsons made 127. Surrey won.

Fqr Northunts against Notts, Wright made 103, and took six for 65. For Notts, Whysall made lot, Walker 102. Staples took seven for 67. Notts won. , For Lancashire against Leicester, Ty’desi’ey in the first innings took five wickets ifor 19, and Mri-doirdd in the second t ook seven for 67. Lari rash re won.
