AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
DELEGATE CALLED TO ACCOUNT. OHRISTCHUECH, Saturday. A meeting, of the Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association discussed the attitude which Mr F. Wilton, the centre’s delegate on the New Zealand Association in Wellington, had taken up with regard to the granting of permits to proprietary bodies., and it was decided that Mr Wilton be asked, if he is not prepared to follow out his instructions regarding the issue of permits to proprietary bodies, to resign his position as delegate of the Canterbury Centre.
