MeNAB—FERGUS

St. raid's Church, Christchurch, tastefully decorated with while flowers, was Ilia scene of a wedding last week. The bride was Alice Gertrude, only daughter of Mr and Mrs S. Fergus, Gloucester Street, and her groom was Frederick John McXub, only son of Mrs A. MeNab, Gisborne, and the late Mr P. McNah, of Christchurch. The Rev. Bower Black was the officiating clergyman. W earing a simple frock of ivory georgette, tho bride made a dainty picture. us she entered tho church with her father. Her two-tiered skirt exlged with narrow hands of satin, was attached by a long bodice, and had one long softhanging pannel at the left side. A bridal veil of white tulle was beautifully embroidered, and plainly arranged with a band of silver rib across the front and orange blossom at each side. She caried a bouquet of pink and white. The Misses Amy Lilly and B. Bollington acted as bridesmaids. Miss Lilly wore powder blue and fuchsia shot satin with a circular apron effect of blue georgette to tone, while Miss Bollington’s becoming frock was of blue and gold shot satin. Both maids wore silver rib flowered hair bands, and carried bouquets of hydrangeas in shades to tone with their frocks. Little Mary Shanks, consul to the bride, made a pretty flower girl in a frilled frock of white net-, with a circlet of silver ribbon and tiny flowers on her hair. The bridegroom was attended by his cousin,...Mr G. Pearey, as best man, and by Mr C. McForran as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the "Winter Gardens, where the tables were gay with roses. An orchestra played bright, selections during the afternoon. Mrs Fergus, mother of the bride, wore a costume of mole garbicord, smartly braided, and a- hat of navy figured satin, finished with an osprey mount. She carried a bouquet of lemon and apricot. .Mrs "McNah, mother of the bridegroom, wore a smart frock of navy silk morocnin, and a hat to match, relieved with a touch of scarlet. Her bouquet was of deep red flowers. When Mr and Mrs McNa.b left later on their honeymoon, the latter was wearing a tailored costume of fawn and a chic little hat. of fawn and blue, with a feather mount curving below tho brim.
