WALSALL CONTEST. (Reuter’s Telegram.) LONDON, Fell. 28. _ At the Walsall by-election. W. Preston (Conservative) was re-elected, 14,793; Dr. McNamara (Liberal), 12,300; Captain Lothian Small (Socialist). 11,610. The vacanacy was caused through Mr Preston’s disqualification owing to a technical breach of the law.
