The chairman of the Wellington Harbor Board stated that having created a dock fund of £15,000, the Board had also set aside certain interest which would augment the fund by some £SOOO per annum. In addition, the fund is to be built up progressively by contributions from the Board’s annual revenue surplus. It is hoped that in ten years a sum of £150,000 will be available towards the cost of a dock.
