SHIPPING DISPUTES.
FURTHER TROUBLE. ACTION BY EMPLOYERS. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Trouble lias broken out- again on the waterfront, where there was no response to calls for labor to work the Waimana. Tlio ’-employers now state that as the result, of the men’s actions it has been decided not to call for fresh labor until a, response is made to work the Waimana. No call was made this afternoon to work the Storm from Wanganui.
DEADLOCK AT LYTTELTON. MEAT-LOADING QUESTION. < (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Most of the boats at Lyttelton were idle to-day. Trouble was caused yesterday by men refusing to load meat on the Port Auckland, and refusing to work overtime on the W'ingatui. As a result the employers decided not to make any further call for labor until a complete settlement is reached.
