Taxpayers are reminded that Saturday next is the Inst day for payment of income tax. Astounding reductions in footwear will he the order of tiic day for the last three days of Lindsay’s great sale. To-night in the Memorial Hall, Mnnntnke, at 8 o’clock, and to-morrow (.Friday) at 8 p.m., in the Alakaraka-Alata-whevo Rail, Mr F. N. Bertram, M.P., Labor member for Grey Lynn, will give a public address, dealing especially with the Labor party’s attitude on the land question. Everybody is invited to these meetings.
