COMMONWEALTH LOAN.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR FLOTATION. (Received February 26, noon). SYDNEY,' 1 Feb. 26. Final arrangements have been made for floating a Commonwealth loan to provide for the redemption of securities of the States of Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, „and Tasmania. The amount of the loan Is £5,400,000. It Avill be issued at_99, with interest at 6 per cent. The period is from five to ten years, according to the subscriber’s wish.
