AMENDING THE LAW. 'Aust'-ll'lin end N.Z. Cable Association.' (Received February 26, 10 a.m.) LONDON, February 25. In the House of Commons Sir .loynson Hicks introduced a Bill lo enable a wife to obtain a separation on the ground of her husband’s cruelty to her or her children, even if the cruelty did not force her to leave him. The Bill also includes within the term “habitual drunkard” those addicted to the drug habit.
