BOWLING NOTES.
POVERTY BAY CLUB. The draw for the Cup Fours to-mor-row is: ToneycliiTe, Phillips, Alexander, Wilkinson (skip) v. Bey. Cmwshaw, Colebparne, Hartley, Shelton (skip). This competition has now reached) an interesting stage, and one morn week will see it finished. Uoutts, with 4 wins and one loss, is Heading, but- Wilkinson still has a chance to tie. Champion 'Singles: This .competition seems to he dragging a bit and the committee will have to apply the closure to those who either will not or cannot play one another. The next round will he drawn on Thursday next and) must be played Iby January 30. Rose Bowl Singles: Members seem to be getting these games off fairly well, but there are still some who seem to have forgotten they entered. Members are reminded they can play anyone in their section, and if possible play -on an off night. Handicap Pairs: Entries are now being taken for a handicap pairs.
