SAINT PAUL’S CATHEDRAL.

SAFETY FUND OPENED. (The Times.) (Received January 9, 10 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 8. The Dean of the Chapter of Saint Paul’s, in a letter to the Times, states they have no surplus funds for the work of making the Cathedral safe, and seek the co-operation of the Times in what they hope may be a final effort to safeguard Saint Paul’s for generations to come. In response to this appeal the Times has started a Saint Paul’s Fund 1 and headed it, with a donation of one thousand pounds.
