' A large entry of 20 rinks lias been received tor tlie Peace Shield tournament, to be played on New Year’s Day and the following day, under the auspices of the Gisborne Bowling Centre. Eight entries were received irom the Gisborne Club, seven from Kahutia, lour Poverty Bay, and one from Tolaga Bay. The tournament will be played in three sections, as follows: — Section A: Morse, D. G. Robertson, Gambriil, It. Robertson, Mickle, Martin, Flavell. Section B : Crawford, Gibbs, • Sidebottom, Dudfield, Holmes, Wilkinson, Heron. Section C: Coutts, Seymour, Neill, Sawyer, Wootton, Hueston. Sections A and B will play on the Kahutia green, and Section C on the Gisborne green. The following are the draws: SECTION A.
