DELAYED BY ENGINE TROUBLE,
(Received August 1. 10 a.m.) • ’ DARWIN, August 1. Tlie expedition against the blacks in the Gulf of Carpentaria, has been delayed in starting owing to engine trouble on the Huddersfield’. It is expected it will 'be three days before she is ready for sea.
