CAPETOWN. July 30.
The Minister for Finance announced that there would be ho change in the income tax. The Government proposed to offer a new stock loan in London later ins the year and an internal loan; immediately. He estimated' there was a possibility of the Union having to take steps to restore 1 -the goldi standard in advance of Britain. The subject required the advice of experts, and the Government therefore proposed to speedily appoint a committee of experts to enquire into the matter and advise the Government thereon.
