TEHERAN MURDER.
(Australian and N.Z. (’able Association.) (Received July 31, 1 p.m.) TEHERAN, July 30.
The American Legation has not received the Persian Government’s reply to the American note regarding the murder of Mr Imbrie, but a newspaper publishes a letter from the Foreign Minister to the American Minister, in which he says the Government and nation were horrified and that every endeavor is being made to find the culprits, who will be severely punished. The Government willingly consents to transfer the remains of Imbrie across Persiii for embarkation on an American warship, and to defray the expenses in that connection; and also proper compensation to the widow. It is considering guarantees for the security of American citizens.
