SEXUAL CRIMES.

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night
At the Supreme Court the grand jury submitted to Mr. Justice- Stringer the following resolution : —“Jbe grand jury draws attention to tlio fact that indecent assaults upon children are still common, and express the hope that the- administration of justice will he directed toward the reduction of this type of crime, which we feel is a stigma on the Dominion/’ His Honor referred to the inquiry into sexual crime now proceeding, and said that some useful information might soon be available. Many of the crimes were attributable to mental deficiency.
