CLINICAL INSTRUCTION.
AN AUCKLAND MOVE
(Per Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, last- night
The establishment' in Auckland of a course of clinical instruction for medical students was urged at a special meeting of the Hospital Board' by Drs. Tewsley and Mi’lson, as a deputation from the honorary staff. It was proposed, said Dr. Tewsley, to put on three different courses of three terms, as in Dunedin. Mr. Potter (a- member of the Board): It is practically a scheme for instituting a medical school in Auckland. I)r. Tewsley: No, not exactly. We propose to offer only clinical instruction. The Board' decided that the superintendent (Dr. Maguire) report to the Board, and the honorary staff place the details before it.
