MOSUL NEGOTIATIONS BREAK DOWN. ' (Reuter’s Telegram.) (Received June 17, 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 16. In the House of Commons, replying to questions in regard to the breakdown ot the Mosul negotiations, Mr. MacDonald said that as soon as the nine months’ period allowed for direct negotiations by the Treaty of Lausanne bad elapsed the Government would! invite the League of Nations to decide the Turco-Iraquian frontier. Meanwhile, they proposed 1 to communicate with the Turkish Government thereanent, in order to smooth over any difficulties.
