The Wanganui Borough Council intend to'make enquiries in an endeavor to dispose of the 1000 water meters. The Waitangi wreck is still an object of interest on Patea bench. It is high and dry, practically a hulk. “Methods of road construction employ, ed in the department are improving very fast,” said the Minister of Public Works, at Auckland. “Quick developments may be expected in this branch of activities,” he added.
