The House of Commons adopted a resolution, providing finances for the Government's Housing Bill, after Mr. Wheaitley had accepted an amendment withholding contributions in thei' event of an inadequate supply of labor and materials at reasonable prices. The amendment was the outcome of complaints of the absence of an agreement with the Labor unions whereby sufficient skilled labor would be forthcoming.
