COMMITTEE FAVORS CONSTRUC- (| TION. '.. ~. 1 (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received May 8, 11. a.m.) < j LONDON May 7. It is learned that the Cabinet Com-' mittee on Airships approves of their con. struction, and probably will recommend the Government to bear all expenses of establishing, a scheme over anexperi- ~ mental period of two years. Thereafter ,', it is likely there will be placed :at the disposal of private companies the whole, of the data, relating to the results, | achieved. It is pointed out that the • fate of the Burney scheme is still in the | balance. It ft nob improbable that a£| majority of the Commons;, in view, of . the fact that four committees hitherto ~. have favored it will support the.adoptipßv '. of the Burney proposals. _
