Bluff, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. The* Waiotapu, from Newcastle via. Suva, leaves Honolulu ait the end of next week for Vancouver to load at Pacific Coast .ports in May, for Auckland', Melbourne and Sydney. The Wajiruna., from Pacific Coast ports, sailed from Sain Francisco on Friday. April 18, for Wellington, Newcastle, Sydney arid Melbourne. She is due at Wellington a,'bout Wednesday, May 14. The Waikawa. leaves Wellington on Monday, May 5, for San Francisco, and loads art. Pacific Coast, ports about the end of May and early i.n June for (Auckland), Napier New Plymouth, Lyttleton, and Dunedin. ,NEW ORIENT LINERS. The Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand, Ltd., agents for the Orient Line have received cable advice from fjydcmy that the Orient Company have iCont.raWed with Messrs Vickers, Ltd., for another steamer of the same design as the* Ornma. and Oronsny now bii!fl'"'r. This third new steamer is to be delivered in 18 months and these three vessels with the Ormonde will provide thereafter a fast monthly service. P'artleulars of the Ornma and Oronsny appeared recently in the press and are as follows: Length 630 feet, beam 76 feet, depth 47 feed. They will have twin screws and will he fitted with geared turbines using oil, instead of coal, as fuel. Their gross tonnage will approximate 20,000 tons, which is orjnn.l in size to it he largest steamers at present running to Austraflia.
