IMPORTS UP £8,000,000
The total exports of the Dominion for the 11 months ending November 30th ,ast were £42,242,049, as compared with £39,149,972 for the first 11 months of 1922 —an increase of rather more than three millions sterling. For tho first U months of the present year the Dominion's imports totalled £39,786,241 as against £31,503,426 for the corresponding period ' of last year, being an increase of more than 8£ millions, or considerably -over 25
per cent. Of the 42 millions of the Dominion's exports £37,992,000 were to the United Kingdom and other piaces within tho Empire, the United Kingdom alone taking £34,263,000; while only £4,r ;49,CCO went to foreign countries. Of the" 39f millions of imports, on the other hand £20,781.000 came from the United Kingdom, and £29,299,000 from the Empire as a whole, as compared frith £10,486,000 from foreign countries.
