PEACE SHIELD TOURNAMENT.
The annual peace shield tournament, was continued to-day on the Gisbornc and Kahutia' greens. The conditions were excellent, and some keen bowling was witnessed. The results of the fourth round matches were as follows :— < A SECTION. Hueston 20, beat Greig 11. Hornet 24, beat Oibbs 17. ATlan 22, beat Wilkinson 17. Sawyer 27, beat Harris (Wairoa) 13. Beatson 19, beat Paltridge 12. B SECTION. Wootton 21, beat Holmes 16. J. J. Martin 32, beat A. S. Seymour 19. W. J. Sinclair 32. beat Gambrill 13. T. A. Crawford 23, beat Flavell 18. The fifth round was proceeding in both sections this afternoon.
