The Madras Corporation passed a resolution that in view of the unjtifit and humiliating treatment of Indians by the Governments of the Dominions and Crown Colonies, the Corporation in future vvijfl employ no non-Indian citizen of the Dominions or colonies in any (apavity, or grant licenses, facilities, or concessions for trade or other purposes.
