The Arahura “'arrived from Napier at 5 this morning, and was tendered for inward passengers. The launch for outward passengers leaves the wharf at 4 p.m. this afternoon, after which the vessel proceeds to Napier. The Arahura leaves Napier tomorrow morning at 7 o’clock, and will be tendered here with one launch for inward and outward passengers, at 2 p.m., leaving later for Auckland via Tokomaru Bay. Ihe Kamo arrived at Napier yesterday and cannot he despatched for Gisborne until to-morrow afternoon. It is anticipated that she will complete discharge and loading and leave for Dunedin on Monday evening. There she loads again for Napier and Gisborne via usual ports. If sufficient cargo is offering, the vessel will proceed to Tauranga.

The Waipori is to load at Qreymouth at the end. of this week. She will complete loading at Westport, later, sailing for Napier, Gisborne, and possibly Auckland.

The N.Z. Shipping Co. advise that the (Middlesex arrived at. Glasgow on the 16th, and tho Remuera and Rirnutaka arrived at Southampton on the IBlh inst.

The Paparoa berthed at Auckland at 7 a.m. to-day, having loft Liverpool on July 7. 3 * Gisborne passengers will be leaving Auckland by the Arahura on Tuesday. The Tiroti left this afternoon for Auckland via Tokomaru and Hicks Bay.

The Inga leaves this evening and proceeds to CJnerahi. , The Awahou is duo to-morrow morning from Auckland via Coast ports, and loads again for Coast ports and Auckland.

The. Ripple, from Napier and Wellington, arrives to-morrow, and after discharge and loading proceeds again to Wellington. She is expected to get away to-morrow evening. I

The Waiteinata left Calcutta on the 11th inst. for New Zealand, via Singapore. This vessel did not load any Auckland cargo at Calcutta. She is due at Auckland nbout tho fourth week in September, or possibly a little earlier. Tthe Nalgora, with Auckland cargo, left Calcutta on the 10th inst. via Australia, and is expected to arrive towards the end of next month. ' The largest direct shipment of produce that has ever arrived at Auckland from Australia was brought, by the Canadian Traveller, from Melbourne and Geelong, This vessel had over 3000 tons, including 70,000 bales of chaff, 3500 bags of onions, 1900 bags of bran, 1300 bags of flour, 1000 bags of pollard, and 60 eases of tobacco. The novelty of seeing chaff packed in bales attracted some attention on the waterfront, when the vessel commenced discharge, and it was evident that much greater economy in carriage was obtainable by this method than by carriage in sacks. The steamer made a good trip of six days from the Australian coast, having experienced following winds nil the way.
