IMPALED ON SHAFT.
YOUNG WOMAN'S DEATH,
BRISBANE, July 12.—A young woman named Annie Thodey was impaled on a cart shaft in a street accident to-day, and died in tho hospital. William H. Kennedy was driving a horse and cart in South Brisbane when his horse shied and jumped in front of a tramcar. Miss Thoody was sitting on tho front of tho car, and tho sliaft of the cart passed through her body.
