Crawford, the famous cricketer, on the grounds of desertion and misconduct, NEW YORK, July 23. The Xteiv. Cyril William Emmett, Dean of University College, Oxford, died in it local hospital from pneumonia after a week’s illness. Dean Emmett and Mrs Emmett arrived recently, the' former intending to deliver a. series of sermons here during the summer.
