A telegram from Los Angeles states that two severe earthquake shocks startled the city early this morning. They lasted six seconds. They threw pedestrians olf their feet, and made cracks in walls, but no injuries or serious damage have been reported. Many well-known film stars fled from their homes at Hollywood, where the shocks were particularly felt.
