PROPORTIONAL VOTING.
'Per Press association.l CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The decision to rescind proportional representation as a method of electing councillors was reaffirmed by nine votes to eight, at a meeting of the council last night. At a previous meeting of the council tho motion was earned, on the casting vote of the dcputy-Muyor. Last night tho Mayor voted against proportional representation.
