WELLINGTON, this day. The figures oh the Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture show that the salted butter graded, for April, 1923, was 84,909 cwt., andi unsalted: 4225, compared with a total of 78,200' cwt.. for April last year, an increase bf 13.98 per ceaitt. For the nine months ended l April, 1923," the respective quantities were 1.199,830 cwt. and 79,438 cwt., compared with a total of 916,410 cwt., nn'ittereasei of 39.59 per j pent,..... ' The cheese gfaded'-'.fon April, 1925, comprised, white 68,051 .teivt. rind! colored 47,65Q.g\vt v cwt. for April, 1923, a, decrease of 2.15 per cent. The.,Totals, .for the nine months ended April, 1923, were, white 709,381 cwt., colored I '4oS;29s’cwt.;; compared 1 with a total off 1;192,675 cwt), a decrease of '6.28 per cent. / . Concerting these figures into bulterfat equivalent there is an* increase of 22.37 per cent, in butter fat production for the nine months as compared with the corresponding period 0f.1921-22.
