SOCIALISTIC OBJECTIVES.

A joint conference between delegates of the Australian Labor Party and representatives of the unions reaffirmed the tied or Socialistic objective adopted! at Brisbane in 1921. Tho conference resolved that a. plank be inserted in the Labor platform, making it a criminal offence for outsiders to take tho placc/'of strikers during a strike punishable prisonment up to six months; that registration of loyalist unions formed! since the 1917 maritime strike be cancelled 1 ; and! that members of tradtes unions while locked! out receive full maintenance. These decisions were: remitted to the annual conference to be held in June. .
