SATURDAY'S GAMES

On Saturday, Kia Toa defeated the High School" team in the ladies' division, by five goals to one. The. game was more even ;than the scores would seem to indicate, and High School at times appeared to have a distinct advantage. The Brilliance of Miss F. Hill, the Kia Toa captain, was unsurpassed, however, and this "player scored all five, of the wining team's goals. Miss E, Hei scored for the school. The game* was most interesting. Tho Rovers, against Y.VV.C.A., put up «, good exhibition, and won by two goals to. nil. Misses I. Golding and R. Benson scored. Both- teams showed the value of good coaching. In the'mens division, Mercantile met and defeated YtM.C.A., in a willing and utl times exciting game. Playing yhorthaii(kd, "Mercs" made the pace « cracker, and Sparks scored on three occasions. Duncan scored, for Y.M.C.A.
