FAVORABLE MONEY MARKET, (per Press Association.) OAMARU, last night. In the course of a speech at Herbert to-night, the Prime Minister announced that that evening ho had 1 received) a , cablegram from London, stating that an announcement in regard l to the finances' of New Zealandl liad caused very favorable comment in financial circles there. Anything that happened in connection with financial matters in this Dominion was looked into veiy closely in London. The people there said! wo were in a splendid* financial position, and the cablegram indicated! that if we wanted a loan within the next few months they would put it through for us. According to the cablegram, ho could have a loan placed! in London next week if he wanted to do SO. , :
