The locked-oulj engineers are not entitled to unemployment relief under the Unemployment Insurance Act, which provides that an insured contributor who loses his employment owing to a trade dispute in a factory in which he works will be disqualified from receiving benefits.
REQUEST FOR BOARD OF ENQUIRY
(Received March 15, 10 a.m.) LONDON, March 14. Tho General Council of the Trade Union Congress.,decided to ask the Government to appoint a Board of Enquiry into tho causes of the lock-out, under the Industrial Disputes Act.
