The Auckland University College Council has appointed Mr L. A. Mander, of Adelaide, as tutor and organiser to the Workers’ Educational Association. Natives of tho Eangataua district have in contemplation tho erection of a sawmill to cut timber in Otawa Nos. 1 and 2 blocks, which contain about 2COO acres of bush owned' by natives. Tho bush mentioned 1 is about 12 miles from Tauranga.
