CONTEST .FUND DONATIONS. The impingement committee of the Gisborne City Band is conducting a campaign for the purpose of raising the amount required to send the band to tlie Wellington contest. The amount required is £3OO, and donations may be received at either of _ the newspaper olliees, or by Messrs. J. Glirisp and \V. G. Dayman. ;Y good start, lias been made towards getting flic money, as the schedule below will show:
